If you’ve ever run into a Cannes Lions judge, moments after being released from the dark, dingy, musky jury room, you’ll know what the true state of exhaustion looks like. That is, until you ask about the work that made it all worth it. They respond with examples they hope to take home with them, presenting pieces of inspiration to those who couldn’t attend or were too busy “networking” at the Gutter bar.
But for those who can’t wait for creative international inspiration, strategy is launching a Cannes-special video series, called “In the jury room,” which showcases the best-in-class work that judges representing Canada came across while assigning marks this year.
We’ll be back each day with a new set of judges, and to kick it off, Lisa Greenberg, VP and CD at Leo Burnett, and Roehl Sanchez, EVP, CCO at Bimm, run through their top three campaign picks in the Promo & Activation and Direct categories. Here’s what they had to say.
