Former Leo Burnett account management group head Gavin Bayley has recently started at Y&R to lead the agency’s recently won BMO account. He joined the agency last week as its SVP global client leader.

In his new role, Bayley will lead the business in the agency’s Toronto and Chicago offices, reporting to both Chris Jordan, president of Y&R Canada and Matt Anthony, president and CEO of Y&R North America.

While at Leo Burnett, he worked across a wide range of accounts, including Kellogg’s, Smucker’s and Visa Canada. Prior to Leo, he worked at Grip, MacLaren McCann and BBDO, all in account management roles.

Y&R picked up BMO’s business back in November following an RFP review, picking up lead status. KBS+ picked up the bank’s wealth management division.
