SapientNitro boosts exec ranks

Andrew Kirby joins the Canadian shop to help grow the office as its new VP client services. Previously, Kirby worked at Blast Radius since 2004, most recently as SVP, global delivery. He’s worked with a number of clients including BMW, Nike and Amex.

Earlier this year, Sapient’s Toronto office hired a couple of creative directors, including Chad Borlase from Cossette, to lead the team’s Harley Davidson account, and Michael Howatson as ECD, a new position at the company.

News broke last week that the network would be purchased by Publicis Groupe for $3.7 billion. The purchase is a bid by Publicis Groupe to become a leader in digital, according to a release, with 50% of its revenue set to come from digital marketing efforts.
