Trio of new titles at Zulu

Zulu Alpha Kilo has promoted a pair of new associate creative directors and hired a veteran designer as its design director.

Joining the agency as design director is Omar Morson, coming off a role as senior designer at Anomaly. While there, he worked with clients including Budweiser (and worked on the award-winning “Red Lights” push) and Mini. A designer with 14 years of experience, Morson has also held senior positions at Oxygen, Cundari and Interbrand.

Senior art director Shawn James and copywriter Sean Atkinson are the agency’s newest ACDs. The pair joined Zulu in March from BBDO and have worked on Audi Q3’s “Tight Parking” video, Interac’s holiday campaign and the ever-popular “Mad Man” video created for this year’s strategy Agency of the Year awards.

The pair has also previously worked at BBDO and Cossette. The duo first met Zulu founder and CCO Zak Mroueh while at Taxi back in 2005.
