Fuse fills two senior roles

Fuse Marketing Group has hired a new digital creative and promoted one of its account leaders to an executive role, citing a strong showing in new clients and business wins to start off the year.

Marc_Portrait_0011_v2Marc Pelland has been hired as a creative technologist at the agency, helping to lead the agency’s efforts in creating experience design offerings for clients including beacons, digital installations and wearables. Pelland joins after five years at Cult Creative and has previously held senior interactive roles at Infusion and the former CP+B.

“My focus is on building unique interactive experiences using any available tools,” Pelland said in a release. “My mandate at Fuse is to close the barrier between physical computer and digital interaction.”

On the account side, Brie Taylor has been promoted to director of client services, having been an account director at the agency since joining from Capital C in 2012. In her new role, Taylor will continue to work with clients including Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons and Kruger LLB, adding more management and planning duties as she joins the agency’s executive team.

The two new moves follow nine hires that came to Fuse late last year.
