General Mills Canada has named Hunter Straker as its package and brand design AOR for a three-year term, working across all brands.
The agency has worked with General Mills on a project basis for the past two years. It previously didn’t have an AOR for packaging and brand design. “We knew we wanted them as a partner on our business after their great work on the Old El Paso Restaurante launch,” Dale Storey VP of marketing at General Mills Canada said in a press release. “The new brand design, including the strong colours and amazing product shots, set the tone for the entire execution.”
Hunter Straker’s package design for Old El Paso is now being picked up as part of a global launch, and Matthew Diamond, SVP at the agency, credits the company for being a truly collaborative client. General Mills Canada’s brands include Yoplait, Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and Chex, among others.
Earlier this week, Hunter Straker picked up Shopper Innovation Awards for its work with Alexander Keith’s and Corona.
