Toronto shop Zulu Alpha Kilo has announced new promotions and hires, following up on a summer that had several new faces joining the team.

CFO David So, who has been with the agency for five years, is now also chief operating officer, continuing to manage the financial team but also day-to-day operations.

Rob Feightner, formerly group account director, has also been promoted to client services director. Feightner, previously managing director at Taxi, joined Zulu three years ago to lead the business for Interac.

On the new hires side, Jamie Murphy has joined the shop as director of talent and culture. Most recently, Murphy was managing director at Mindshare. Both Feightner and Murphy will report to Zulu’s president, Mike Sutton.

Kerry McKibbin has been brought on as group account director. She was most recently with Toronto’s DS+P, where she led the business for Mott’s, Dulux Paints, Canada Goose and Miele Canada.

Terri Mattucci has also joined Zulu as account director. She has previously held roles at TBWA\Juniper Park and Ogilvy & Mather.

The promotions and hires come after a busy summer for the team at Zulu. In May, Allen Oke joined Zulu as ECD after almost 11 years at TBWA\Toronto. That was followed by TBWA\Toronto creatives Guilherme Bermejo and Nicholas Doerr heading to Zulu in June, and nine more hires shortly after. Later in June, the shop brought on three new ACDs. In late July, three more creatives came on board, making 17 new hires for the shop in just three months.
