We are beginning to worry about how much Sport Chek has budgeted for drones to be destroyed by athletes.
Last month, agency Rethink invaded the rink with drones as Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos got some target practice while shooting a spot for the sports retailer (which the All-Star promptly incorporated into his drills). Not to be outdone, Toronto Raptors star Kyle Lowry took on a pair of drones himself.
It seems like hitting a drone with a basketball is slightly easier than doing so with a hockey puck, but Lowry made sure to do it with a bit of style (and on his first two shots, no less).
