JWT wins Hotels.com

The agency will handle all Canadian advertising for the travel site as its new AOR.

J. Walter Thompson Canada has been selected as the Canadian creative agency of record for Hotels.com.

Beginning this month, the agency will handle the Canadian creative and strategy, including social and digital marketing for the travel site. JWT was selected following a national search process.

While Hotels.com has had a Canadian presence for some time (with Union handling advertising in this market, working with its U.S. affiliate shop – and Hotels.com’s North American AOR –  CP+B), Mike Wolfe, senior director of brand marketing, said in a press release that the selection of JWT is part of “accelerating [its] presence even further.”
