Andrea Cook has been hired as president of Rivet, a data-focused creative agency that’s part of FCB Canada.
Cook will be tasked with evolving the Toronto shop’s CRM, digital and data marketing capabilities. She was most recently SVP, national business lead at Cossette. Prior to joining that agency in 2013, she held senior roles at Proximity Worldwide, Grey Canada and DDB Canada.
The president role at Rivet was left vacant in October, when Angèle Lévesque, also president of FCB Health Toronto, stepped down. Tim Bowen, FCB Canada’s CEO, had been handling those duties in the interim.
“Andrea gives Rivet the bench strength it requires to help our clients successfully navigate and compete in today’s data-driven, digital environment,” Bowen said in a press release. “Looking across the industry, there are not a lot of people who have her experience and abilities. What makes Andrea such a great fit for Rivet is her passion for great creative and using data and digital solutions to deliver multi-channel, customer-centric communications.”
Rivet has done work for clients including BMW, Nescafé, Nestlé and CIBC.
