Part of the strategy also included promoting Andrew McCartney from SVP, managing director of Tribal Toronto to president and Marty Yaskowich, managing director at Tribal Vancouver to chief innovation and growth officer (both at Tribal Worldwide Canada).

Wilson’s career spans 17 years in Montreal and India, working on a client roster that includes Royal Canadian Mint, Aeroplan, Loto Québec, General Mills, IBM, Yoplait, Fido, Rona, Budweiser, Cirque du Soleil and Bell Canada. In the new role, which was effective Jan. 25, Wilson is working under Dean Lee, ECD at DDB Canada Vancouver.

“One of of his strong suits is his ability to combine creativity and strategic thinking with the latest technology to build modern brands that resonate with consumers,” Lee said in a press release.
