Saint-Jacques Vallée Y&R now under Taxi Montreal

Taxi Montreal and Saint-Jacques Vallée Y&R have come together under the Taxi banner.

The merger follows last year’s integration of Y&R with Taxi in Toronto.

Pascal De Decker, previously general manager and ECD of Taxi Montreal, is now co-president alongside Jacques Labelle, who was previously president and CEO of Saint-Jacques Vallée Y&R. Both will report to Taxi North America CEO Rob Guenette.

The merged shops, part of WPP, now have a combined team of 80 employees in Montreal. Taxi will now add clients including Danone, Fromageries Bel (La Vache qui rit, Babybel, Boursin), Bombardier Recreational Products and various Pfizer brands to its roster. For its part, Taxi Montreal has had several new wins over the past year-and-a-half, including Fido, Moosehead, Leon’s and Incognito.

Earlier this week, Taxi promoted Mike Leslie, general manager of Taxi Vancouver, to the role of president for its operations in English Canada.
