Monique Brosseau is preparing to leave her position as VP and managing director at DDB Canada’s Montreal office.
A statement provided by the agency said Brosseau would be departing at the end of August to pursue another opportunity.
Brosseau joined DDB when it opened its Montreal office at the end of 2014, following seven years at ZenithOptimedia. Prior to that, DDB operated in Montreal through a partnership with Bleublancrouge to serve clients looking to reach French Canadians, later creating the stand-alone office in large part to service what was then its newest client, Volkswagen Canada.
Since then, Brosseau has helped DDB Montreal expand its client roster, which now includes McDonald’s, Investors Group, Dairy Farmers of Canada and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. Its most recent win came in June, when it was named the first AOR for YWCA Montreal.
The agency is currently recruiting a replacement to work with Etienne Bastien, VP and CD at DDB Montreal, who will continue to lead the office in the interim.
