Sid Lee has hired dedicated leadership for its in-house production studio, bringing on Amanda Loughran as its head of studio in Toronto.
Loughran was most recently executive producer at digital design company Colorfield, which she co-founded in 2012. Prior to that, she was an executive producer at Lollipop and executive multimedia producer at Dentsu.
Sid Lee Studio was launched last year after the agency combined several previously separate production and design divisions. The in-house production unit has been focused on developing social content, digital platforms, experiential, TV ads and branded content.
Richard Jean-Baptiste, global head of Sid Leo Studio, said in a press release that the success of the Studio in Montreal over the past 18 months has convinced the agency to further fortify its offering in Toronto, including the hiring of a dedicated leader to help it expand.
