OneMethod has added some new faces to its creative leadership team, naming Dan Strasser as creative director and promoting Max Sawka to strategy and creative director.
Strasser comes to OneMethod after six years at sister agency Bensimon Byrne, where he worked with clients including Casey House and Scotiabank. Sawka is being promoted after spending more than ten years at OneMethod, now working in a hybrid role as a strategy and creative lead.
Strasser will focus on advertising work at OneMethod, while Sawka will focus on design and branding, as well as working with president and CCO Amin Todai to grow that side of the business.
The creative department continues to be overseen by Todai. In a press release, he said the agency’s “entrepreneurial” approach and identity isn’t changing – hence why it promoted from within – but adds that it will be “tightening the focus” on design work. This is partially spurred by a number of design projects OneMethod picked up in 2018 for the likes of Scotiabank and TribalScale, as well as a handful of cannabis companies.
The promotions also come shortly after Steve Miller, previously SVP and CD at OneMethod, left the agency to join Fuse as its first ECD.
