Nick Doerr and Gui Bermejo have a BBDO homecoming

The pair are returning to the agency as ACDs after two years at FCB Canada.

Nick Doerr, left, and Gui Bermejo, right, have returned to BBDO Canada as ACDs, where they will now work with CCO Max Geraldo, centre.

The creative duo of Nick Doerr and Guilherme Bermejo are returning to BBDO Canada, rejoining the agency in ACD roles.

The pair have spent the past two years working in the same roles at FCB Canada, to which they moved from BBDO in 2020. At FCB, they oversaw the Destination Ontario account and worked on Air Canada and OLG, as well.

The pair initially joined BBDO in 2017 as a copywriter and art director, respectively, and worked their way into senior roles with the agency during their last stint. They also previously worked together for Zulu Alpha Kilo and TBWA.

During their previous stint at BBDO, the pair worked on campaigns for clients including GO Transit, Visa, Hudson’s Bay and FedEx.

The pair have “always kept our eye on BBDO,” according to Bermejo. “There’s renewed energy. We’re eager to get back at it, creating the work that makes our clients famous,” adds Doerr.

“When looking at the culture of our agency and the value we place on ensuring creativity is at the center of our business, Nick and Gui are a perfect fit,” says Max Geraldo, the agency’s CCO.
