SC Johnson picks David Jacobs to lead North American marketing
David Jacobs is being appointed head of marketing North America for SC Johnson, based out of the company’s Chicago office.
Jacobs is formerly SC Johnson’s head of marketing South East Asia, based out of Malaysia. A 15-year vet of the company, which manufactures Glade, Windex, Drano and other household products, Jacobs is very familiar with the Canadian market, having been in the marketing and sales department for Unilever Canada from 1999 to 2007.
Muskoka Brewery promotes marketing lead
Sarah Au has been promoted to senior director of marketing at Muskoka Brewery. As a member of the independent craft brewer’s senior leadership team, Au has marketing leadership for the main Muskoka brand, as well as the company’s Vancouver Island Brewing and Rally Beer Co brands.
Au joined the company in 2019 as director of marketing.
Balzac’s Coffee hires new director of sales and marketing
Tomasz Rojek has started a new position as director of sales and marketing strategy at Balzac’s Coffee. The high-end coffee brand operates 17 cafes in Canada, in addition to operating a growing CPG business for its take-home premium coffee.
Rojek was most recently senior brand manager for national beer brands at Sleeman, where he led strategy and execution for the Sleeman, Sapporo, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Old Milwaukee brands.
Daniel Reilly moves from IGA to Super C
Daniel Reilly is being appointed director for Super C, the Quebec-based discount supermarket chain, and part of the Metro family. Reilly is a 17-year veteran of IGA, where he held the same role. Super C operates nearly 100 locations in the province of Quebec, and offers approximately 1,200 private label brand products.
Keurig Dr. Pepper hires new manager for Van Houtte
Annick Rousseau has been hired by Keurig Dr. Pepper Canada as the new senior brand manager for Van Houtte. Rousseau is coming off of nearly six years in various marketing roles at Bimbo Canada.
