Cannes Lions has announced the jury presidents for this year’s awards, and the festival has tapped FCB Canada CCO Nancy Crimi-Lamanna to lead the selection of the Creative Commerce Lions.
The Creative Commerce category recognizes creative approaches to online and offline commerce, payment solutions and moving customers through transactional journeys. The category was introduced in 2021 as an update to the previous Creative Ecommerce Lions, meant to be a reflection of the increasing amount of innovation in commerce across platforms.
Crimi-Lamanna has been working at FCB Canada since 2015, and was elevated to CCO the following year. She has also been a juror at Cannes three times in the past: for the Film Lions in 2016 and 2022, and the Print & Publishing Lions in 2021. She has also been on juries for numerous award programs both in Canada and internationally, and was co-chair of the 2018 AToMiC Awards.
The jury presidents lead the deliberation and selection process for their respective categories. The full list of this year’s presidents can be found below.
This year’s Cannes Lions takes place from June 19 to 23. Registration to attend opens on Thursday and awards submissions open on Jan. 19.
