Sponsorship agency T1 has named Nithya Ramachandran its new president and chief strategy officer, with Liz Rose taking on duties as general manager.
In 2021, Ramachandran was hired as VP of brand strategy and communications for the MH3 Collective – a group of ventures focused marketing, entrepreneurship and education that includes T1 – where she led its repositioning and brand development. During that time she also helped lead a transformation of T1, which included a redefined purpose, organizational structure and in-market positioning of services.
In 2022, she was named interim general manager and head of strategy and creative for T1. Last year she also co-founded Sidekick Consulting, a new MH3 venture focused on strategic consulting and business scaling. Prior to joining MH3, Ramachandran was a VP leading strategy at National Public Relations.
Rose, a five-year veteran of T1 who was named VP of client engagement at T1 in 2021, has been promoted to succeed Ramachandran in the general manager role. With a customer loyalty, brand and events background, Rose has held progressively senior roles at Bond Brand Loyalty prior to joining T1.
“It’s time for a new era at T1,” says Mark Harrison, founder of T1 and MH3 Collective. “I’m excited for both [Ramachandran] and [Rose] and the entire leadership team at T1 to fly the agency to new heights.”
The promotions of both Ramachandran and Rose follow the hirings in late 2022 of Katee Hui as senior director of strategy and Matt Leroux as director of activations.
