Havas has added to its leadership in Montreal, hiring Marie-Josée Bourque (pictured, above left) as VP of client services and John Pankert as VP of strategy and operations.
In addition to leading their respective disciplines, the pair joins Stéphane Mailhiot, president of Havas Montreal, and Carle Coppens, co-president of Havas Montreal and CCO of Havas Canada, on the office’s management team. Together, they will help mange the agency’s growth and talent management.
Pankert is making his return to Havas, having previously spent two years as a strategy director at the agency between stints at Sid Lee. Before joining Havas, Bourque spent nearly two years as managing director at Taxi Montreal, and also brings experience from Agence Braque and Lg2.
The additions come following the addition of several new assignments for the agency last year, incuding furniture retailer Must, real estate developer Groupe Maurice, gastropub chain Les 3Brasseurs and non-profit the CHUM Fund.
