Relish Studios adds new VP to drive expansion

Multidisciplinary content studio Relish has named industry vet Andrew Milne as its new VP of growth.

Milne will be responsible for leading the company’s growth strategy, driving revenue, expanding its sales and marketing efforts and developing new partnerships for Relish Studios across all divisions.

“We have a lot of things in the hopper right now and we need someone to steer us strategically forward,” says Paul Pattison, CEO of Relish Studios, to whom Milne will report. According to Pattison, Milne has a keen eye for technical innovation, and chose him to lead the expansion of its sales and marketing efforts with a focus on bolstering and further building its client relationships in the entertainment industry.

Before joining Relish, Milne was the chief revenue officer for cybersecurity company, Field Effect Software. Prior to that, he was the founder of the Ottawa-based creative and digital content agency bv02, which was purchased by Real Decoy.

Relish is perhaps best known for Weirdwood Manor, which is currently being adapted into an animated feature film. But across its digital, games and animation divisions, it has also done client work for No Frills on its “Aisles of Glory” game, as well as the likes of Molson Coors, Salesforce, Koodo, Dell, Samsung and Toyota.

The company, which in September changed its name from Relish Interactive to Relish Studios to represent its holistic approach, claims it has doubled in size since 2020. In December, it welcomed JP Burdett as its new director of growth marketing, while in November, Frank Desimini was added as the shop’s product director.
