In Brief: BPR is now Sugo Communications

BPR gets a saucy new name

BPR has rebranded to Sugo Communications.

Besides being inspired by founder and CEO Shawn Rusich’s traditional family recipe for sugo – “sauce” or “gravy” in Italian – the name change is to solidify the agency’s position as leader within food, CPG, lifestyle and hospitality.

The rebrand follows the agency’s recent expansion stateside with an office in Los Angeles and taking over a new space in Toronto. The agency also recently added Pluck Tea, Pizzeria Libretto and Fuwa Fuwa Pancakes to its client roster, while renewing its existing partnerships with Eataly and German kitchen brand, Zwilling.

Sugo also manages PR and digital efforts for The Cheesecake Factory, Cuisine Adventures, Mazola, Fleischmann’s and Jackson Family Wines.
