Golin names a new VP
Shaday Livingston (pictured, left) is now vice president at Golin. She will report to Renee Weekes Duncan, SVP of Golin Canada, and will continue to work closely with managing director Lindsay Peterson-Chisholm in her new duties overseeing the agency’s consumer business.
Livingston has been with Golin for more than two years and previously oversaw the firm’s consumer health business with clients that include Johnson & Johnson and Clif Bar. Livingston also plays a key role on the leadership team in Canada – building client and vendor relationships, developing best practices for the agency and mentoring a large team of client managers and influencer and earned media specialists.
In addition, Golin has promoted Sisi Berhe and Noah Gomberg to directors, Allison Chin to senior manager, and Meagan Forde and Carly Newton to managers.
A new managing partner among several promotions for National in Toronto

National Public Relations president Martin Daraiche has appointed Brian Pearl as managing partner of the Toronto office, in addition to his role as lead of the corporate communications and capital markets practice.
Prior to joining the PR agency in the summer of 2022, Pearl was president of IT service provider Next Dimension.
Following his appointment, Pearl announced the promotion of three colleagues to the Toronto executive team: Jennifer McCormack to VP and practice lead healthcare; Anne Yourt to SVP, client service; and Meaghan Beech to chief of staff, in addition to her role as senior director.
Last fall, National added to its Montreal management roster with two hires. National clients include Danone Canada and Telus.
Cossette names a new ACD and announces a promotion
Michael Pal has joined Cossette Vancouver as its new ACD. Pal is a former ACD with Critical Mass and previously held a senior copywriter role with FCB Canada.
