Nurun hires new EVP to oversee development

Eric Noël has joined Publicis Groupe’s digital marketing and technology agency Nurun, appointed to the role of EVP and managing director.

Noël brings a quarter of a century of experience in the digital and technology space to the role, including nearly 15 years as a teacher of digital strategy at HEC Montreal. With Nurun, he will lead operations and oversee the agency’s efforts to grow and expand, as well as to develop its talent internally and drive collaboration between Nurun and other agencies within the Publicis Groupe network, both in Canada and on the regional and global scale.

“His knowledge of technology platforms, coupled with his ability to understand business ecosystems and translate them into operational vision, makes him an exceptional asset for our talent and clients,” says Mathieu Roy, the recently appointed executive president of Publicis in Quebec, to whom Noël will report.

“The entire team at Nurun, with the help of my leadership team, will ensure that Nurun is de facto a reference in North America in our industry,” adds Noël.

The appointment represents a key investment in the network’s digital capacities, which are a key driver of its revenue. In Q4 2022, Publicis Groupe reported double-digit organic growth and record-high financials. The network’s data and technology capabilities represent a third of the network’s revenue globally, according to Arthur Sadoun, chairman and CEO of the Groupe.
