Believeco:Partners makes two high-profile recruitments

Mark Carpenter (pictured, right) and Darren Keats have been recruited by Arlene Dickinson’s new independent creative agency, Believeco:Partners.

The pair are joining the agency, which was created when six independent agencies were consolidated – Dickinson’s own Venture Play, alongside PR firm Argyle, strategic marketer Brightworks, integrated branding shop Zync, marketer/brander Revolve and Indigenous advisory firm, Castlemain – late last year. They join a team of more than 300 working out of seven offices in two countries.

Carpenter joins Believeco:Partners as divisional president of delivery, overseeing the agency’s creative, digital, paid media and social media teams. He joins from No Fixed Address, where he had worked for the past five and a half years, the last two of which he served as president. NFA has already announced his successor in Liz Mowinski.

“I’m excited to be joining such a talented collective of integrated marketing, communications and Indigenous advisory professionals, and to help take us to our next phase of growth,” says Carpenter. “As soon as I learned about the structure and vision for Believeco:Partners, I knew it was something new and innovative that I wanted to be a part of.”

Keats (pictured, left), meanwhile, joins Believoco:Partners as EVP for finance. He brings leadership to the agency’s finance team and will also work to develop M&A strategies for the agency. He previously served as SVP at KPMG, where he worked for more than six years, and also has experience with professional services firm EY.

“With a decade of experience in client service roles, I’m looking forward to working with the team at Believeco:Partners to drive value and growth,” he says.
