Vancouver-based independent agency Wasserman is celebrating something of a homecoming with the hiring of Bruno Cirello as its new associate creative director and head of art.
Cirello, who previously worked at the agency as senior art director for two years from 2017 to 2019, is returning after several years spent working both at other agencies and client side. In that time, he worked in senior art director roles with Crew Marketing Partners and The&Partnership. Client side, he’s worked with Nature’s Path and most recently at Fresh Prep, in both cases as creative director.
“Bruno is a brilliant art director with a fierce determination for insightful creative ideas,” says Bronwyn Mackay, creative director at the agency.
Cirello will be working alongside Mackay and fellow ACD James Dolan across the agency’s creative accounts, with a particular focus on Return-It, Pacific Blue Cross and the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, as well as the agency’s travel and tourism accounts, including Tourism Kelowna.
He’ll also play a key role in growing and “strengthening” the agency’s creative team and talent, Mackay says.
“Elevating our creative team allows us to present a stronger offering to clients and be more effective at building their business,” adds Cam Landell, the agency’s president.
