Lactalis names new VP of marketing and GM for Canadian division
Lactalis has promoted Vincent Metz to be VP of marketing for the Americas. He previously spent three years as the company’s global marketing director in Paris before becoming general manager of the Canadian fluid division in 2019.
To fill his previous role, Lactalis has promoted Nathalie Cusson to general manager of the fluid division. Cusson will be responsible for Lactalis’ overall long-term strategy, sales, marketing and retail partnerships, as well as the company’s expansion into the plant-based category. David Gillespie, previous VP of yogurt and cultured products, will become VP of sales for the fluid division at Lactalis Canada.
Lactalis Canada is the manufacturer of brands like Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, Balderson, Astro and Lactantia.
Pigeon staffs up
Patrick De Varennes is joining Pigeon as an art director. He has held senior graphic design posts with Onama and Behavior Interactive and was most recently CD at Embassy. He brings over 20 years of experience in television and agency realms having worked at MusiquePlus, Musimax, Vtéleé and Stingray music, where he oversaw print, digital, television and set design.
Rebecca Lyttle is Pigeon’s new strategic planner. She most recently held the title of senior strategist at The&Partnership and was also previously a brand manager for specialty whiskeys at Corby Spirit and Wine.
BC Children’s Hospital Foundation names new director of marketing and communications
Michael Gray has joined BC Children’s Hospital Foundation as director, marketing and communications.
Gray is a former group account director with 123w, and also held the position of senior manager, marketing for MEC, where he was lead of brand, retail, social impact and strategy teams, responsible for driving engagement, acquisition and retention at the outdoor lifestyle retailer.
The Hospital Foundation recently launched a new campaign tapping the power of moms.
