Intuit’s head marketer promoted to general manager

Stefania Mancini is starting a new position as general manager of the consumer group at Intuit Canada’s TurboTax. For the past three years, Mancini served as marketing lead for Intuit Canada’s consumer group, which includes the TurboTax and Mint software platforms. Prior, she worked agency-side as VP of marketing at Klick. She has also held director roles at Say Media and Postmedia.

Former GTA area MPP joins Crestview Strategy

Gurratan Singh has joined public affairs PR agency Crestview Strategy as a VP. Singh, a litigation lawyer by trade, is also a former Brampton-area Member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament, and brings an understanding of the legislative process, to aid clients in navigating the government. He several held key roles during his time in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, including Critic for the Attorney General and Deputy House Leader.

BTI announces new head of strategy

Mississauga-based BTI Brand Innovations has named Srujani Chand its head of strategy. BTI’s current portfolio includes integrated marketing campaigns and retail solutions for brands including Whirlpool Canada and Canada Beef.

Demand Spring names a new VP of strategy

Allison Snow has joined the leadership team of Ottawa-area revenue marketing consultancy Demand Spring as VP of strategy and chief analyst. Snow has held leadership roles in demand generation, customer marketing, and product marketing at a variety of organizations, most recently, Bizzabo, an event tech platform for B2B event professionals where she reported directly to the CMO and led global product marketing.

NSLC names a new marketing manager

Hannah Chapple has started a new position as marketing manager at the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. Prior, she was director of marketing and communications for Halifax software health company The Rounds, where she led development and implementation of its B2C and B2B marketing strategies, and was also a member of the senior leadership team responsible for a $6.7 million series A funding round.
