Lifelong Crush is adding another senior leader, hiring Lindsay Day as its VP and business director, tasked with leading the agency’s client business team.
Day has history with recently appointed partner and CCO Christina Yu, whom she worked with at Prime Video. More recently, she had been at Hard Work Club as its director of brand leadership. She also has previous experience on both sides of the border at both network and independent shops including John St., Havas, and Ostrich, and over her career has worked on clients including Loblaws, Boston Pizza, TJX and Merck.
At Lifelong Crush, she will “go deep with her clients from a marketing strategy standpoint, all in the service of marketing effectiveness,” explains Caroline Kilgour, EVP and managing director at the agency.
“We believe this is the approach that clients are benefiting from today as it relates to agency partnerships. They are seeking partners who are equally obsessed with business results as they are – and that’s Lindsay,” Kilgour adds. “While still very much in service of the client experience and unleashing powerful creative, Lindsay measures her teams’ success by KPIs associated with business impact.”
Lifelong Crush has been transforming from what was once the content and production arm of sister agency Broken Heart Love Affair and into a full-fledged agency of its own. That move started with the addition of Yu and CCO Derek Blais in May, and continues now with the addition of Day.
“The opportunity to work with a group that moves at the speed of culture to build business and sees around the corner to what marketers need in 2023 and beyond is really exciting,” Day says of her new role. “We’re motivated to bring non-traditional solutions to clients’ business problems, unbeholden to antiquated agency process that over-complicates and slows down progress. The crush is very real, and we’re just getting started.”
