Gateway announces affiliate agreement with OLG

Gateway Casinos and Entertainment has a new affiliate marketing agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). The initiative will see Gateway promote OLG’s iCasino slots, tables games, including live casino, as well as its digital sportsbook Proline+ to Gateway customers in Ontario.

On behalf of OLG, Gateway operates 14 casinos across Southwest, North and Central Ontario and has been executing a development program to create local entertainment destinations in the communities where Gateway operates, including deploying its signature casino and food and beverage brands like Match Eatery and Public House and the new Playtime Casino Wasaga Beach.

Gateway Casino customers in Ontario will receive a link to bring them to OLG.ca where they can play preferred slots, table games or bet on sports.

AMA Toronto names new president

Santo Ligotti is taking on the role of president of AMA Toronto. Ligotti is also VP of marketing and member services for Retail Council of Canada. Prior to that, he was a longtime senior marketer for JP Morgan Chase Canada.

He takes over duties as AMA Toronto’s president from Scotiabank’s Tina Portillo, who recently concluded her one-year term.

BTI adds retail and sales to its service offering

Mississauga creative shop BTI Brand Innovations is expanding its offerings to include bespoke sales and retail solutions. This new service offering will help current and future client partners improve sales performance and achieve measurable bottom line results.

BTI’s Sales Solutions have already generated momentum in the cannabis category. BTI piloted a program with client partner, the now Hexo-owned Redecan in  2020, with the addition of retail brand ambassadors and a dedicated national sales team to complement their full calendar of marketing and communications initiatives.

Rose adds two Shiseido brands to its roster

Following a competitive RFP process, Rose PR has added Shiseido’s Nars and Drunk Elephant brands to its roster. Both brands have entrusted Rose PR as AOR in Canada.

Rose PR will leverage industry expertise and its network to augment the prominence and visibility of Nars and Drunk Elephant within the Canadian market. Rose PR says it will amplify the distinctive narratives of each brand, through compelling storytelling, influencer collaborations, and media relations.

NKPR is new PR AOR for two real estate brands

NKPR is the new communications agency of record for Neatt Communities and Hersh Realty Group, further expanding its real estate portfolio.

Neatt is a homebuilding and development company in the Halton Region with plans to bring its first project to market, Stationside. Toronto’s Hersh Realty Group, meanwhile, specializes in the sale of pre-construction high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise condos, as well as townhomes and detached properties.

NKPR will be supporting Neatt and Hersh through media relations, increasing brand awareness and reaching new clientele.
