Hill+Knowlton Strategies is bolstering the leadership ranks for its Toronto-based innovation and creativity hub with the addition of Shereen Ladha, whom the agency has hired as its new vice president of creative strategy.
Ladha joins the agency from Rethink, where she had been working as group strategy director since June 2022. In that role, she led strategic work on a number of key clients, including IKEA, Destination Canada, WestJet, Nestle, A&W and Vega. Her work for those clients has garnered international recognition, including at Cannes, where she has been part of six Lions wins over the past two years. IKEA’s “Scrapsbook,” KitKat’s “Iftar Bar” and Destination Canada’s “Maple Leave” campaigns are all among her credits.
Ladha “brings a fresh perspective to H+K,” says Sheila Wisniewski, president and CEO of the agency, “strategically grounding our work in Canada’s unique cultural context while positioning our clients as industry-leading organizations in today’s rapidly evolving society.”
In her new role, she will work with Elma Foric, the agency’s creative director, and Samantha Kay, VP of content, publishing and digital planning and optimization, to elevate the work of H+K’s creative team, which has previously been identified as a key factor behind the agency’s growth for several years.
“H+K has an incredible client roster with amazing potential and I’m excited to help elevate our creative excellence with an earned-first approach,” says Ladha.
