Taxi bolsters creative, strategy and account teams

Taxi has made a host of new promotions across its creative, strategy and account teams.

Mike Richardson is the first of the creative promotions and is advancing to creative director after working at the agency for more than three years as an associate creative director. With Taxi, Richardson has worked on brands including Egale Canada and Volkswagen, with credits including the former’s holiday campaign and VW’s “#DayToZero” Earth Day effort.

Richardson is not alone on the creative front, as Taxi has named three new associate creative directors in Zachary Richman, Logan Franklin and Meric Ozkan. Carlos Veras, meanwhile, has been promoted to senior art director, Dylan Thompson to senior copywriter, and Lee Jihuen I to art director.

On the strategy side, Michal Fetsum has been named a senior content strategist.

Taxi has also named a new account manager for Type 1, Megan Rebello. Rebello joins Taxi from parent agency VMLY&R, where she had been working as an account coordinator handling British American Tobacco.

Rounding out the promotions are Mara Neil, who has been named group account director; Autumn Sophia as connections supervisor; and Seth Waterman as managing director and North American business lead.

The moves follow Taxi’s appointment of a new head of production and the launch of its creative commerce division earlier in the summer.
