Rethink names ECD for NYC office
Rethink has appointed Tara Lawall as the executive creative director for its New York office. Together with CCO Daniel Lobatón she will play a big role in shaping Rethink’s work, while building and mentoring the creative team.
“Her work is smart, funny, strategic and always with an extra layer of insightfulness, which is what makes her such a fantastic creative and leader,” Lobatón says.
Lawall joins Rethink after making her mark at agencies like Droga5, 72andSunny, and Anomaly where she created work for Pizza Hut and Coors. Some of her commercials have also been included in the Advertising and Editorial Art permanent collection at New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
Rethink’s New York office supports clients like Kellogg, Kraft-Heinz, Molson Coors Brewing Company, and recently announced a new partnership with soundtrack platform innovation company, Epidemic Sound.
Sid Lee announces two senior leadership roles to its U.S. offices
Global creative agency Sid Lee is adding Bruno Luglio as executive creative director and Melissa Cabral as VP, head of strategy to its American offices.
Luglio is formerly global creative director for footwear brand Vans. Prior to joining Vans, he was creative director at Spotify, based out of New York.
Cabral, meanwhile, served as head of strategy for LA-based David & Goliath. Prior to joining D&G, she was head of strategy for The Many.
The two will join the leadership team, led by Tom Ramsden, who was recently appointed CEO USA.
