Anomaly has made a number of hires and promotions in response to business wins and organic growth, including (left to right, top to bottom): Vinay Parmar, who joins as creative director; Alexa Espinosa as group business head; Lexie Hoffmeyer and Brena Johnson as associate creative directors; Krista Colangelo as head of creative operations; and Cristina Pineros and Sasha Barkans as associate creative directors.
Anomaly has made a hire and several promotions across its creative and client services divisions, building out its expertise in the area in response to some new business wins.
The agency has hired Vinay Parmar as a creative director. Parmar joins the agency from Zulu Alpha Kilo, where he had worked for nearly six years, most recently in the same role. At ZAK, he worked with clients including HomeEquity Bank, SingleCut Beersmiths, and Harry Rosen, among others. He has also been an instructor at the Miami Ad School for the past three years.
In his new role, Parmar “will help to push the boundaries of the creative department,” says Dave Douglass, ECD and partner at Anomaly. “He comes to us at the perfect time, as we continue to build on our strong foundation and raise the bar across a set of recently acquired and foundational clients.”
The agency has also promoted five people across its creative team, including Krista Colangelo, who joined the agency in January 2022 and is now its head of creative operations.
Lexie Hoffmeyer, Brena Johnson, Sasha Barkans and Cristina Pineros have all been promoted into associate creative director roles, as well, while Alexa Espinosa has been named group business head.
“We’ve had a lot of exciting and strategic growth this year into new markets and really interesting new categories. And not just to our client roster, but amongst our team as well,” says Candace Borland, CEO and partner at the agency. “It’s inspiring to add some highly motivated fresh perspectives and watch our existing talent … thrive and grow into new leadership appointments.”
The hire and promotions come on the heels of a number of business wins at the agency, including Chewy, Windstream and Nom Noms World Food, in addition to organic growth with existing clients.
