M&H appoints a new VP of growth
Creative production company M&H has named Dave Nourse as its new VP of growth.
In this role, Nourse, a longtime EVP of client success for Art & Science, will lead M&H’s business development efforts.
Nourse and Jean-Philippe Samson, the shop’s director of business development, are responsible for driving M&H’s growth by collaborating with clients like L’Oréal Canada, the National Bank of Canada, BRP and Rogers.
“[Nourse] possesses an in-depth understanding of the Canadian media landscape,” says Christian Quenneville, president of M&H. “I am convinced that his experience will prove invaluable to us, bringing a wealth of knowledge to assist us in driving awareness of our brand, our unique offering and achieving our ambitious growth objectives.”
Nourse made significant contributions to the success of brands such as Toyota, Nestlé, Pepsi and Novartis.
Peloton adds a Canadian GM
Peloton appointed Mike Wilson to the position of general manager of Canada. Wilson will lead the development and execution of Peloton’s strategy in the market, including operations, sales and piloting new go-to-market growth strategies. He brings more than 20 years of sales, brand management, integrated marketing and digital experience to Peloton.
Previously, Wilson was the Canadian head of industry and country manager at Google subsidiary Waze. As the first Canadian employee at Waze, he built and grew the local community and was responsible for partnering with some of the largest brands in the world through the the wayfinder’s ads consumer platform.
Indigenous brand Manitobah shakes up its leadership team
Manitobah, an Indigenous footwear brand based in Portland and Winnipeg, is announcing a leadership shakeup.
Carolyn MacNaughton, a former chief product officer with Bala, a nurse footwear brand, and VP of footwear and VP of accessories at Under Armour, will assume the role of CEO. Tom Hildrum will step into the position of CFO, and Mike Wodtke has transitioned from chief digital officer to CMO.
With over 20 years of experience in marketing and ecommerce, Wodtke’s expertise includes a 13-year tenure as the VP of digital and retail operations at American home décor brand, Blu Dot, in Minneapolis.
Manitobah has brand partnerships with Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and others.
