Marketers on the Move: British Columbia Lotteries Corp names a VP of marketing

BCLC names Natasha Questel its top marketer

Natasha Questel is the British Columbia Lotteries Corporation’s (BCLC) chief social purpose officer and VP of marketing, effective Jan. 22. She joins BCLC with experience in the non-profit and consumer-packaged goods sectors.

Most recently, she was the CEO of One Girl Can, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to breaking down poverty and gender inequality among the world’s most vulnerable girls. Prior to that, she was president of Happy Planet, a Vancouver-based, sustainable-food company focused on doing right by people and the planet.

“As BCLC continues to mature as a social purpose company working to generate win-wins for the greater good, it’s integral that we continue to embed our ‘reason for being’ into all that we do,” says Pat Davis, BCLC president and CEO.

Senior Molson Coors marketer takes on new role

Sasha Romano Lopez is taking on a new position as senior manager of brands and innovation for Molson Coors’ Six Pints portfolio. The role includes overseeing planning and execution of Six Pints, which is comprised of both regional and national craft brands and innovations, like Creemore Springs, Granville Island Brewing, Quebec microbrew Le Trou Du Diable (TDD) and others. Within the Molson Coors portfolio, she has also held senior marketing management roles for Heineken, Amstel Ultra and Birra Moretti.

Romano Lopez formerly worked as senior manager partner brands, innovation and commercialization, seltzer and flavour, involved in long-range planning, partnership management and contract compliance for the likes of Topo Chico and Simply Spiked.

Lindt & Sprüngli hires retail marketing manager

Lisa Hogan is starting a new position as retail marketing manager at confectionery brand, Lindt & Sprüngli Canada.

Hogan is a nearly 10-year Telus marketing veteran who most recently worked as the telco’s marketing communications manager. Her responsibilities included planning and execution for Telus and Koodo in-store marketing, and managing the design, development and implementation of in-store campaigns for multiple distribution channels.
