Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto hires Allison Urowitz
Allison Urowitz is the new vice president of development and marketing for Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto.
Urowitz has more than two decades of expertise in revenue development and marketing leadership, with significant contributions to the non-profit sector and the Canadian publishing industry.
At Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), she played a pivotal role in expanding philanthropy for student financial support, with a particular focus on Indigenous students.
She is also a former director of corporate donor relations with United Way of Greater Toronto, leading a team to grow its community campaign and evolve corporate partnerships to fund programs for children, youth and families. Urowitz was responsible for managing the not-for-profit’s annual multimillion-dollar workplace fundraising effort, guiding five direct reports and overseeing a team of 18 fundraising professionals growing revenue through corporate support, special events and individual giving.
Last November, parent McDonald’s ran a cross promotion with footwear brand, Crocs in support of Ronald McDonalds House Charities.
Champion names Richard Mcleod VP, CMO
Richard Mcleod is now vice president and chief marketing officer of Champion.
Mcleod joins the HanesBrands athletic wear company from Canada Goose where he was senior vice president of the brand and responsible for brand evolution, growth, and performance.
Prior to Canada Goose, Mcleod was the vice president and general manager of Foot Locker Canada where he developed and executed strategic initiatives that delivered growth while inspiring and empowering youth culture.
He also helped bring the large footprint Foot Locker power concept store north of the border.
Earlier this year, Canada Goose CMO Penny Brook also announced her departure.
