Warrior Sports names new global creative and marketing director
New Balance hockey and lacrosse brand Warrior Sports is appointing industry vet Sacha Ouimet as its global creative and marketing director.
Ouimet’s journey began at Marketel (McCann) in Montreal, before moving to Cossette and transitioning to the role of executive creative director at Forsman & Bodenfors, and later at McCann.
Ouimet served as global creative director at CCM Hockey, while in his most recent role, steering creative direction at The Hive Montreal and Toronto, he worked on a client roster that included Canadian Olympic Committee, Sea-Doo (BRP), OLG, EQ Bank, iÖGO (Lactalis), and notably, Warrior Sports (New Balance).
Upon bring Ouimet aboard, Warrior Sports GM Chris Jenkinson said that he “embodies visionary leadership, renowned for propelling projects with innovation and precision.”
Lactalis Canada names director of corporate marketing
Lactalis Canada has hired Paul Cuaso as its director of corporate marketing.
Cuaso will be tasked with driving alignment, consistency and excellence throughout the company’s marketing processes and projects. With more than 20 years of CPG experience in Canada, Cuaso most recently worked for General Mills as a business unit director for the company’s snacking category. Prior to his 12-year stint at General Mills, Cuaso also worked with Unilever and Del Monte Foods.
Lactalis Canada is a subsidiary of the French company, Lactalis Group, and it oversees such brands as Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, Balderson, Astro and Lactantia. The company also recently added new leaders to its customer sales team for Sobeys, Costco and Walmart.
Paul Guité takes over as Plus Company VP, analytics and insights
Plus Company, a network of 24 creative agencies, has named Paul Guité as its vice-president of analytics and insights, Montreal.
The new role calls on Guité to help Plus stand out from its competitors through an analytics offer that can be leveraged by its agencies and clients. The company says Guité will use AI-assisted research tools to optimize data collection, analysis and use. He’ll also work closely with Plus Company’s strategy teams.
Guité has worked for more than a quarter century in strategy and media. Before joining Plus, he led Quebecor’s Insights team, and as media director and strategist for large-scale accounts at such agencies as Group M, Touché and Media Experts.
