Mastercard promotes Nisha Carcasole

Mastercard has promoted Nisha Carcasole as its new vice president of consumer marketing and sponsorships.

Carcasole has worked with the company for eight years, since joining in 2016 in a partner marketing, director role. She most recently served as a director of consumer marketing and sponsorships since 2019.

Prior to her work with Mastercard, Carcasole spent seven years working in a variety of roles for Mosaic North America, starting as an account coordinator in 2007, and eventually being promoted to senior account manager in 2015.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto adds marketing and comms director

Joanna Winsor (Burke) is starting a new position as director, marketing and communications at Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto.

She most recently worked as director of marketing and communications for Food Banks Mississauga where she provided vision and leadership to its integrated brand and marketing efforts. Winsor led company marketing, communications and public relations strategy, annual plans, campaign plans, budget creation and management, and also led company rebrand from the Mississauga Food Bank to Food Banks Mississauga.

Prior to joining the organization, she was manager of brand marketing and campaigns for the True Patriot Love Foundation.

Earlier this year, Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto named Allison Urowitz to the role of vice president of development and marketing.

Bell Canada makes a senior marketer promotion

Asif Ahmed is starting a new position as senior manager of marketing strategy – newcomer and partnerships at Bell Canada.

His role includes identifying opportunities to develop market and customer segment strategies for mobility, residential services (Internet, TV, Home phone, IoT, etc) for Bell Canada consumer household brands (Bell, VirginPlus & Lucky Mobile). and developing insights and analytical models to analyze complex market information to identify trends and opportunities that support marketing effectiveness.

Ahmed most recently worked as Bell Canada’s senior manager of market planning and strategy.

GTAA promotes a marketer

Erika Allen is being promoted to senior representative of passenger insights and marketing at Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

In the role, she will collaborate with stakeholders and business partners at Toronto Pearson International Airport through the development and execution of marketing activities to ensure an elevated passenger experience and the accurate representation of the brand.

A longtime consultant, Allen also worked agency side as an account executive with Gravity Partners, working on campaigns for Absolut Canada, Polar Ice Vodka and Jacob’s Creek Canada.
