Mint adds a senior strategist
Andrew Stewart is starting a new position as group strategy director at Mint.
Stewart is a former VP of creative strategy and client innovation with Vancouver’s Argyle, working with such clients as Swiss Chalet, Beam Suntory and Desjardins.
Formerly a VP of strategy with Cossette, Stewart also worked as a director of content strategy with Publicis.
At Publicis, he managed a team of 16 social content strategists, analysts and content-focused creatives across two offices. Stewart worked on campaigns for brands like WestJet, Home Depot, Rogers, LG, Sephora, Walmart, Kinder, Dairy Queen, Rogers, Merck and Great West Life.
Salt XC adds a CD
Natalie Racz has joined Salt XC as creative director.
She worked in the same role at Midnight Circus, where she created and built brand stories and experiences for a client roster that included Kraft Heinz Lunchables, Jack Link’s Canada, Heineken, Molson and Kia.
Racz also worked for more than four years as Jam Direct’s senior art director, responsible for leading and designing creative for national CRM campaigns for such clients as Toyota, Lexus, QuickBooks, Bell and BMO.
Full Punch staffs up Edmonton with an ACD
David Landreth has been named associate creative director, as the Full Punch agency expands its Alberta offering. Previously at Marks Toronto, Landreth spent his career in Alberta at several of the province’s top agencies including DDB, ZGM, Critical Mass and Berlin.
“We continue to see steady growth, and our new hires reflect meeting the demand. Adding [him] to our Edmonton team is helping to build a stronger presence in that market,” says Mike Leslie, the shop’s founding partner and CEO.
Full Punch’s client roster includes Surrey Hospitals and Alberta-based real estate developer, Autograph.
Oakville’s WakeUp names a partner and creative director
David Taylor is joining Oakville branding, design and digital advertising agency WakeUp, as partner and creative director starting Monday.
Taylor’s 20-year experience includes branding and advertising agencies such J. Walter Thompson, Interbrand and Taxi. His work has been recognized by Cannes, Communications Arts, the National Advertising Awards, ADCC and Applied Arts.
As principal of Awake Studios for nearly nine years, his client roster included City of Toronto, Global Centre for Pluralism founded by the Aga Khan and the Government of Canada, the Jack Russell Agency and LCBO – Vintages.
WakeUp’s client roster includes Sudio Design, Walden International School, MacLachlan College and Spring Mill Distillery.
L’Association des Producteurs Publicitaires names new GM
L’Association des Producteurs Publicitaires/The Association of Advertising Producers (APP) is welcoming Magali Loiselle as its general director, succeeding Suzanne Bourret, who is retiring.
Loisell’s mandate will be to contribute to collective influence by promoting the expertise of talents to maintain local competitiveness while increasing the international notoriety of the APP.
She most recently worked as vice president and executive producer with Telescope Films.
CMHA promotes within PR team
Emma Higgins has been promoted to national communications manager at the Canadian Mental Health Association. She joined the organization in 2022, leading media relations efforts, and developing editorial, digital and social content.
She contributed to promoting and publicizing key CMHA programs, initiatives and campaigns including Mental Health Week, government advocacy and policy releases.
