Marketers on the Move: Steam Whistle marketing director joins TSN


TSN hires longtime alc/bev marketer

Michelle Wilson is starting a new position as senior marketing manager for Bell Media’s TSN.

Wilson will be tasked with creating and executing marketing strategies and initiatives driving subscriber acquisition for the network’s direct-to-consumer digital products TSN and TSN+, linear TV viewership, brand awareness, consumer engagement, digital product use and market leadership.

Most recently, Wilson worked as director of marketing for Steam Whistle Brewing, where she developed and executed on brand cross-channel media strategies nationally (digital, social, OOH, PR and influencer), and built out the plans and execution of annual brand planning and strategy for Steam Whistle and Partner Brands.

Wilson also held a nearly four-year tenure as director of trade marketing at Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits. Prior to that stint, during her almost 12 years with Labatt, Wilson worked as senior trade marketer with Labatt’s Beyond Beer RTD portfolio.

Former senior DivaCup marketer launches Title Brand Management

Longtime CPG marketer Stephanie Zhuang has unveiled Title Brand Management, a brand management service agency.

The aim of the new endeavor is to simplify marketing for emerging brands, and to provide access to tools and knowledge from global organizations, tailored to fit nimble company structures, processes and budgets.

Zhuang, a 15-year CPG marketing vet, most recently worked as senior director of marketing for DivaCup, leading a 13-person marketing team. She was director of marketing for wellness brand, Natreve. As senior brand manager for Campbell, she was accountable for accelerating growth on the Meals and Beverage portfolio, including Condensed Soup, Broth, Pace, Prego, Gravies and V8.

Duracell announces promotion

Alexandra Petit has been promoted to senior key account manager of e-commerce at The Duracell Company.

Prior to joining Duracell, Petit was omnichannel shopper marketing manager – Walmart, U.S. and Canada for crafts brand, Spinrite.

As a Mars customer marketing leader, Petit developed and defined the omnichannel go-to-market strategy for the confectionery’s seasonal category, ensuring the right product, content and marketing solutions, optimizing the digital shelf for Amazon. She also designed and executed a pop-up store in a retail environment to introduce seasonal innovations.

Weber Shandwick makes a promotion

Kevin Behar has been promoted to senior manager of media relations at Weber Shandwick.

Before joining Weber in 2023, Behar was corporate account manager at Pomp & Circumstance PR. He held a four-year stint as a communicator with Apex PR prior.

Behar has worked with clients including New Balance, eBay, Toronto Public Library Foundation, Ubisoft and Planet Fitness.
