Industry agency group MTP adds True Independent
Industry agency group Meet The People (MTP), has added True Independent Holdings (TIH) to the fold.
TIH is the parent company of True Media, True Media Canada, Coegi and RADaR. TIH will take over general media services for the growing agency umbrella group. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
True Media Canada’s client roster includes Re/Max, Gay Lea, Clutch and the Scarborough Health Network.
With offices in both the United States and Canada, along with capabilities that include media planning and buying, a programmatic trading desk, and a data and analytics unit, TIH represents a significant addition to the growing MTP roster. With the deal’s completion, the agency and its subsidiaries will join VSA Partners, Toronto-based Public Label, Mississauga shop Match Retail, Toronto digital agency Swell Media and New Hampshire’s Saltwater Collective as a full partner in the MTP agency group.
“Joining forces with TIH and its agencies is an important step in the evolution of Meet The People,” says MTP founder and group CEO, Tim Ringel. “It adds substantial scale, skill and technology access to our media offering representing our ambition of excellence for our clients, which will help all of our agency brands better serve our clients.”
With the addition of TIH’s more than 200 employees, the combined operations will boast a headcount of more than 750 employees in both the U.S. and Canada.
Wild Card Promo adds to its team
Amy Lett has been hired to lead marketing and corporate strategy for Mississauga shop Wild Card Promo.
In the role, Lett will shape and execute innovative marketing strategies and corporate initiatives that drive growth and enhance market presence, leveraging more than 15 years of experience in experiential marketing to deepen partnerships with agencies and brands.
Lett is a former director of retail operations for Mosaic North America, and held a director of client services role with Brand Momentum.
Milestone Integrated Marketing adds VP
Jamie Norgarb is starting a new position as vice president of media at the Cambridge shop Milestone Integrated Marketing. Norgarb recently held the title of vice president of client business and planning for Toronto’s PHD, where she worked for a dozen years.
Prior to joining PHD, she held media strategist roles at Page Three and FCB.
