Ipsos adds WPP vet to executive team
Global market research company Ipsos has appointed Mary Ann Packo its new CEO in North America.
The 25-year market research industry vet is joining the group management committee, and will report to Ipsos CEO Ben Page.
Packo has extensive international experience in brand building, marketing, advertising, consumer research, digital measurement and advisory services. Prior to joining Ipsos, she was a senior partner at Los Angeles-based Hypothesis Group, an insights, strategy and design agency. Before that role, she worked as CEO of WPP’s data insights consultancy Kantar Gold Rush, and as CEO of Kantar Insights North America.
Proof adds to senior leadership
Megan Stanley is moving on to a new role as director of public affairs and government relations at indie PR and marketing agency Proof Strategies.
Stanley, who commences her new role on May 15, spent 11 years at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, most recently working as the organization’s director of government relations.
Proof clients include Campbell’s, Edward Jones, and Grand & Toy.
We Are Social VP departs
Giacomo Groff is starting a new position as vice president of strategic planning at the Sao Paolo-based advertising agency Africa.
Groff leaves We Are Social after joining as vice president of strategy in late 2023. He previously worked in Sao Paulo during his more than four-year stint with ad agency R/GA. He also previously worked with Huge, Clemenger BBDO and Ogilvy.
Vistar names a new marketing manager
AnneMarie Selvaggio is starting a new position as marketing manager at OOH advertiser, Vistar Media.
Selvaggio is a former brand manager with Recipe Unlimited’s Prime Pubs, leading implementation and execution of branding strategies, including marketing campaigns, digital advertisements, local awareness and in-restaurant promotions. Previously she was also a brand manager at Kelseys, where she managed brand, advertisement and design campaigns.
Gallagher promotes a marketer
Michaela Englbrecht is starting a new position as manager of brand marketing and communications, Canada at insurer and risk manager, Gallagher. Englbrecht is formerly an internal communications specialist with the brand.
