World Vision Canada establishes AOR team-up with BHLA

Global relief, development and advocacy organization World Vision Canada has appointed Broken Heart Love Affair (BHLA) as its agency of record.

The Toronto shop was responsible for World Vision Canada’s successful 2023 impact and giving campaign “Burp.”

“From the start, Broken Heart Love Affair demonstrated a genuine connection to our work with a passion for telling powerful stories with heart, showcasing the real impact of our work in the world’s most fragile and marginalized contexts,” says Kevin Andrews, VP of brand for World Vision Canada.

World Vision Canada and BHLA will be releasing new work later this year in the lead-up to the organization’s 2025 capital campaign.

Citizen Relations syncs up with Nestlé Canada

Global PR agency Citizen Relations has been named Nestlé Canada’s new PR agency of record for its confectionery business.

The agency officially announced the move this week, after winning the business in January 2024. It’s ramped up work across multiple programs with Nestlé Canada already this year.

The partnership has included media relations, as well as earned and influencer media on Aero’s “Mind Bubbling” campaign by Cossette released earlier this year.

In addition to the confectionery business, Citizen is supporting the company with PR on multiple brands across Nestlé’s business portfolio.

Bodega adds the Thai Trade Centre Toronto to its roster

Toronto PR shop Bodega has announced a relationship with Thai Trade Centre Toronto, the Department of International Trade Promotion and Ministry of Commerce for the Royal Thai government.

Overseas Thai Trade Centres, under the supervision of the country’s Department of Trade, are located in major cities like Toronto to implement policies and activities, with special focus on fostering trade relations between Thai exporters and potential importers.

Bodega says it is eager to collaborate and showcase the vibrant culture and offerings of Thailand.

The boutique shop includes among its clients, downtown Toronto open air market Smorgasburg.
