BIMM adds to senior leadership team

Toronto-based digital agency BIMM has completed several new additions to its senior leadership team.

The shop unveiled the new appointments this week, all of whom have been tapped to help steer the agency through its next phase. BIMM’s senior leadership team has expanded to include Sameer Rikhi as VP of technology, Frank Cristiano as VP of client success and global growth, and Brent Knightley as VP of operations.

BIMM says Rikhi will be tasked with leading its technological initiatives across application development and marketing technology. Rikhi has more than two decades of experience, and worked at companies like Loblaw as director of software engineering, and Cisco as engagement manager.

Cristiano also joins BIMM with a career spanning more than 20 years, having worked extensively in client service at such agencies as Havas CX, Publicis Sapient and ICF Next. Cristiano will be responsible for leading client service and business development.

Knightley, meanwhile, has a long background in loyalty, having worked as VP of operations and technology for Scene+ and as senior manager of business development for Air Miles. He’ll oversee delivery efforts, focusing on operational excellence.

The three new hires join a senior leadership team that also includes BIMM team members such as VP of experience design Harjot Bal, VP of planning and analytics Kabir Grewal, director of people Donna Leslie and director of finance Kimberly Ng.

BIMM’s senior leadership team is chaired by SVP Meghan Chin and CCO Roehl Sanchez, who the agency says is helping to set an “aggressive direction” for the team to ensure BIMM has the resources it needs to grow further.

“We are poised for a future characterized by innovation, client-centric solutions and strategic growth,” BIMM CEO Mike DaPonte said in a news release about the appointments.
