Zulu Alpha Kilo received a prestigious honour this week being named as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. The accolade enters it into rare territory.
This is the seventh consecutive year the agency was named to the list, entering it into the Platinum Club, a designation for leading organizations that have been named one of the country’s Best Managed companies for seven years or more.
The list of Canada’s Best Managed Companies is vetted annually through Deloitte. Now in its 31st year, the business awards program recognizes Canadian-owned and managed companies that demonstrate leadership, innovation, strategy, capability and commitment to achieve sustainable growth.
“Having some of Canada’s top business leaders recognize us in this way is an incredible honour,” Zulu Alpha Kilo founder and creative chairman Zak Mroueh said in a statement. “Even though we’re now nearing 200 people, across three offices, size doesn’t define us. Sticking to our core values and beliefs have been key to our success and growth.”
The 2024 list of new and recurring Best Managed Companies winners was published in the Report on Business magazine section of The Globe and Mail on Tuesday. Winners will be honoured at an annual gala in Toronto on Wednesday (May 15).
The agency joins fellow marketing agency Klick Health in the Platinum Club. Other ad companies such as LG2 and Index Exchange were also named to this year’s list.
