VML Canada names new strategy director
VML Canada has hired McCann Worldgroup veteran Jeremy Singer as its new strategy director.
Singer joins VML from McCann, where he sat on the account leadership team. Singer was responsible for leading national brand strategy, communications systems and creative effectiveness for clients in the Canadian market for a roster that included Export Development Canada, Royal Canadian Mint, Mastercard, Nestle and Club Med.
Singer is also a former strategy director with Citizen Relations, where he developed Yokohama’s “Shaving Seconds” campaign. As an ACD, he was part of strategic leadership on the TurboTax account.
Publicis Hawkeye names a creative copywriter
Gabriel Ramon Topacio is starting a new position as a creative copywriter at Publicis Hawkeye Canada.
Topacio is formerly a copywriter with BIMM and Cossette. He is a nearly five-year veteran of Manila-based PR consultancy, Eon Group, where he also held the copywriter role.
