Sleep Country’s Endy has a new president and GM

Jason Cassidy (pictured above) is taking on a new role as president and GM of Endy, a mattress subsidiary owned by Sleep Country Canada.

After previously working as president and GM of meal delivery and frozen pizza company Porta, Cassidy announced in May that he was transitioning off of the business he co-founded.

Cassidy also previously worked as VP of marketing strategy at Tim Hortons, and led marketing for KFC and Pizza Hut with Yum! Restaurants International.

KFC Canada names new CDO

Kathryn Ledwell is starting a new position as chief development officer at Yum! Brands’ KFC Canada.

She formerly served as the QSR’s director of development strategy.

Before joining KFC Canada, Ledwell worked on global growth and strategy for McCain Foods, with responsibility for driving agenda across M&A, strategy, sales, marketing, supply chain and government affairs verticals.

Prior to joining the QSR, she worked in strategy and corporate development for the George Weston group of companies.

Kimberly-Clark promotes GM

Amy Fox is the new general manager in Canada for Kimberly-Clark.

Fox was most recently the CPG’s VP of ecommerce and Costco Canada, and prior that, she worked as director of customer development, responsible for leading Kimberly-Clark’s Amazon, Loblaw, Shoppers Drug Mart and Costco business.

Loblaw promotes a No Frills VP

Jeffrey Ling is starting a new position as vice president of promotions and in-store merchandising for No Frills at Loblaw. Ling is formerly the grocer’s senior category director of fresh products, overseeing Deli, Bakery and Home Meal Replacement. For five years, Ling also worked as senior category manager of grocery.
