Four more Lions in the bag. One more awards ceremony to go.
Canada’s Angry Butterfly, Critical Mass, FCB and Klick Health ended the week with Silver and Bronze medal wins in the Film and Sustainable Development Goals categories Friday afternoon in Cannes.
Today’s achievements bring Canada’s Lion count to 66 – following an evening of record-breaking success for the country, with Rethink and Klick Health each appointed a Grand Prix.
The festival also announced the Young Lion winners in a larger-than-usual ceremony, with a crowd of entrants and spectators gathering on the Palais Terrace, a change from the usual private basement bunker presentation.
Canada did not medal in any of the categories, however the team from McDonald’s and Brizi – Jenn Bailey and Nick Carson – did manage to land on the shortlist for the Marketer competition. To view the work produced by the five teams, scroll below.
