Lauren Andrews is starting a new position as senior director of global marketing at the Explore Edmonton Corporation.
Andrews has spent nearly six years with Explore Edmonton in senior marketing roles.
Prior to joining the destination marketing organization, she held communication specialist roles with Northlands, PCL Construction, and the Zebra Child and Youth Advocacy Centre.
Fairtrade Canada promotes marketer
Maria Gallardo is taking on a new role as brand marketing manager for Fairtrade Canada.
Gallardo previously served as Fairtrade Canada’s marketing and communications coordinator. Prior to joining, she held communications roles with Colleges and Institutes Canada and with a consortium of leading Canadian research universities, CALDO.
KW area Humane Society adds a senior marketer
Adam Stephens is the new director of marketing and community engagement with the The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth (KWSP).
Reporting directly to the CEO, he is responsible for developing and executing the KWSP Humane Society’s communication and marketing strategies. Prior to joining KWSP, Stephens was director of growth marketing for Uvaro, a career support firm.
Irving adds to its shopper marketing team
Sarah Obonsawin has joined Royale diaper and tissue maker Irving Consumer Products as an assistant brand manager of shopper marketing.
She was previously marketing manager for Outward Bound Canada, spending more than three years with the outdoor education charity.
BDO Canada adds a marketer
Accounting firm BDO Canada has named Kelsea Rose as marketing specialist. Rose is a six-and-a-half year veteran of Lululemon, where she recently held the title of digital engagement community support and channel lead.
